Individuals & Families

A fiduciary financial advisor, leading a team of specialists.

Your advisor, our CPAs and estate planners at one table: investments, taxes and estate as one plan, matched to your family's situation.

One family, one table

Your entire team, at one table.

Your Senior Financial Advisor leads a service team built around your family: a Financial Advisor, an Investment Analyst, a CPA, an Estate Planning Advisor and a Client Service Associate, all working from one picture of your finances. When life changes, you make one call.

What do the wealthiest families do? They put a team around it. We think every family we serve deserves the same.

Our wealth management engagements are designed for households with $2,000,000+ in investable assets.

“Life doesn’t happen in a straight line for many families, so why wouldn’t you want an experienced, caring, trustworthy, knowledgeable team working for you?”

Where are you?

Every family arrives with a version of the same questions.

Do I have enough?

Will it last?

Will it pass on well?

Approaching retirement

The 401(k) is big, the pension choices are confusing, and the date is real.

You need an income plan, Social Security timing, a healthcare bridge and a tax-smart withdrawal order, not a brochure.

Retirement planning

After a sale or windfall

Sudden money has sudden tax consequences.

The first year matters more than the next ten. Our CPAs model the tax picture before the decisions get made for you.

Tax planning & preparation

Wealth across generations

Parents, kids, trusts, gifting, and nobody coordinating.

Coordination is the difference between an estate plan and a pile of documents. Ours gets executed: retitled, funded, finished.

Estate & legacy planning

Advice in three places

An advisor here, a CPA there, an estate planner from years ago.

Nobody has the whole picture, and the gaps between them are where money leaks. We put the whole team at one table.

The rhythm of the relationship

Planning is a loop, not a calendar.

The cadence is set to the client, not the calendar. Some families meet quarterly, some annually, and the work between conversations is continuous: each topic is reviewed, a recommendation is made, the decision is implemented, and the result is monitored until it comes around again.

Services are tailored to each client’s circumstances and engagement.

Questions

Fair questions, straight answers

Do you have a minimum?

Our wealth management engagements are designed for households with $2,000,000+ in investable assets. If you're not sure where you fit, tell us where you are. We'll be straight about it in the first conversation.

What happens in the first meeting?

Thirty minutes with an advisor: your goals, your questions, your current setup. No cost, no obligation, no pitch.

How do you charge?

An advisory fee based on the assets we manage, with fixed fees for standalone planning work. We explain it plainly in the first conversation, and the full schedule is in our ADV.

Who prepares my taxes?

MCF's CPAs: in-house, within qualifying client relationships. Your return is prepared and filed by the same team that plans around it all year.

Will I receive every service listed here?

Services are tailored to each client's circumstances and engagement. In the first conversation we'll map which services fit your situation, and tell you plainly where you fit.

Do I have to move everything at once?

No. Many families start with one piece, and the plan tells us what order makes sense from there.

Own a business? Your biggest asset deserves its own conversation: value, exit and the taxes around a sale.

Business Owners

Your path forward.

Every first conversation starts with the same three questions.

  • What does an ideal financial partner look like for you?

  • What is one thing your current advisor isn't handling the way you'd like?

  • Is there a decision or transition on the horizon you haven't fully planned for?

Thirty minutes with an advisor: your goals, your questions, no cost, no obligation.
