Will Backscheider, CFP®

Will is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional at MCF Advisors based in our Newport office, where he works with high-net-worth individuals to help them create, preserve, and transfer wealth. Since joining the advisory profession in 2021, Will has built his practice around a client-first philosophy — empowering people to make confident financial decisions that reflect their personal goals and values.

Before joining MCF, Will served high-net-worth individuals at another local wealth management firm, where he developed a strong foundation in comprehensive financial planning. Will earned a degree in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Louisville — a technical background that, combined with his CFP® designation, allows him to deliver robust, streamlined planning solutions tailored to each client's unique circumstances.

Will resides in Fort Thomas, Kentucky with his wife, Madison, and their two children, Peter and Annie. Outside of work, he enjoys running, playing pickleball, and spending time outdoors with his family.
